So you telling me that the U.S has completely cured the American doctor with Ebola in 26 days and he’s being released today. While Africa has been dealing with it since the 70’s and they are still looking for a cure?
Fact one: Of the particular strain of Ebola, 50% get better with medical care. The argument could be made for better medical care.
Fact two: It’s only two people, not very scientific.
Fact three: They used a drug therapy, not one pill.
Fact four: The particular therapy was meant to slow the progress of Ebola to give the body time to respond, not cure it.
Fact five: Based on the information there is no saying if what they did had any impact on the two individuals health at all.
Fact six: As noble as giving people highly experimental drugs over and over again just in case seems, it’s not.
I agree we need to do more since we have the resources, but saying we just popped out a cure is not true.
